Rihanna a reusit sa bata recordul stabilit in 1994 de formatia Wet Wet Wet cu piesa Love Is All Around. Ea este debutantul artist din ultimii 13 ani care a stationat pe primul loc in clasamentul din UK timp de 10 saptamani, cu piesa Umbrella. Inainte de hitul Wet Wet Wet din ’94, Whitney Houston a mai reusit in ’92 sa stationeze 10 saptamani in fruntea topului britanic cu piesa I Will Always Love You, iar inaintea ei Bryan Adams a atins recordul de 16 saptamani cu Everything I Do, I Do It For You din ’91.
